The clinic is a three-day series of lessons that will start with a basic rules seminar for all participants. Please be aware of the starting time of each session as they will take place at different times. All juniors participating in the junior program will be taught the basics of putting, chipping, pitching, and the full swing. Parent and guardian volunteers are encouraged to come out to the course on Day 3 to caddie and assist with their child’s on-course experience. There will be a limited number of juniors allowed in each class in order to allow for the best possible ratio of students per teacher. The age range is 6-18 years old.

Lake Arbor Memorial Foundation for Junior Golf
Access to the game of golf is difficult for young people because of the high cost of green fees, the cost of learning the game, and the cost of equipment. To further the wishes of past advocates of Lake Arbor Junior Golf, The Memorial Junior Golf Program has been set up. The program goal for juniors is to make golf available and accessible to youth with the support of positive developmental efforts and programs.
Throughout the year, Lake Arbor offers special rates for juniors (ages 7 to 18): $10.00 for 18 holes in the afternoon on weekdays. Lake Arbor and West Woods golf courses also have junior clubs which any junior golfer may use FREE.
Lake Arbor Memorial Golf Programs’ major fund-raiser is the Lake Arbor Memorial Golf Tournament. Funds received from this tournament are used initially to facilitate access to golf for underprivileged junior golfers through donations of workable equipment and donated funds. Lake Arbor loans equipment free of charge to junior golfers who cannot afford to buy equipment.
The Lake Arbor Memorial fund was also proud to give out 11 scholarships to students who have had financial difficulties in attending college. The fund was also used to help underprivileged children who could not afford to be in the Lake Arbors Junior clinic series.
